About Me
I am a self-taught software developer and former teacher. I discovered my passion for coding after learning VBA and JavaScript to build assessment data processors and dashboards for my work. Since then, I have found lots of creative ways to apply my skills and love building for the web. Below are some of the qualities I really value as a developer.
Creativity
From software, to music, sound and graphics: I love to create and believe in the power of innovation. I enjoy finding new ways to tackle challenges within a project and create value for users.
Accessibility
The web is even better when it is available to everyone. I am passionate about ease-of-access and bake it in to my designs. I seek out best practices and make tools for developers to help make websites more accessible.
Open-Source
No developer is an island and Open-Source software is what allows us to connect and share good ideas. Every tool I make is free and open source. All my source code is freely available on GitHub on my profile where I have over 3,000 commits over the past year.
